Here's one thing I did a while ago with CINESTYLE on a 550d. I'm just curious what picture styles other people here use/have used and interested to hear their experiences as I've only just recently started venturing outside of Cinestyle. Oh yeah I'm aware of the basic settings, sorry when I said my new camera I didn't mean it's my first one I just meant I've upgraded to a new camera.
Lightform I haven't played with too much but it's like a slightly more colourful version of Cinestyle from what I can see.Ĭinebooster is by far my favourite, I think the footage you can get from it looks beautiful with really nice colours and a very filmic quality to it.Īnyone else try any other good ones or used any of those ones? It looks way too dark for my liking and the blacks always seemed crushed. I'm also not crazy about what it does to the skin tones, but maybe it's just my poor colour correction skills. You can definitely get some nice colours with it don't get me wrong, but it still looks a bit flat for my liking sometimes. I'm all about having the most vivid colours in my footage (unless the video needs a different look) and no matter how hard I tried I've never been truely happy with the colours from Cinestyle despite of how I colour corrected. I used to swear by Cinestyle but recently I've stopped using it. Just wondering what picture styles do you guys use for your Canon DSLR?
